Link Found Between Periodontal Disease and Alzheimer’s

The American Academy of Periodontology has recently released an article from Mark Ryder, DMD, giving his insight to a new report that shows a link between Porphyromonas gingialis and Alzheimer’s disease. This bacteria, common in periodontal disease, could either be related to or an indicator of dementia.
